Beswick Tree Service was established in 1950 by Orville Beswick and Don MacAulay

Together, they successfully ran the business as partners for a number of years. Orville was the chief salesperson and Don was the field supervisor.  

A changing of the guard

In 1972, Orville Beswick retired, and Don took over as the sole owner, running the company for another 10 years before bringing on a partner, his son, Jeff MacAulay. 

Jeff poured a lifetime into Beswick Tree Service, responsible for much of the growth in Beswick's fleet and team that customers see today. 

An enduring family business

In 2007, Jeff's daughter Nicole joined Beswick when she was only 15. Nicole continues her involvement in the family business to this day as one of Beswick's ISA-certified arborists and estimators. 

Today, Beswick is one of greater Hamilton's oldest and most highly reviewed tree care companies.
